The 2015 Rotary Charity Swimathon

will be held on

Saturday, 14 November

at the Sleaford Leisure Centre

Fancy a fun day and a swim?

Want to raise some money for good causes? Want to give something back to your local community? Want to help us make a difference to people’s lives? Well, why not come along to our Charity Swimathon on Saturday 14 November 2015 in the Sleaford Leisure Centre and help us beat the £9000 we raised last year. This time , our main benefactors will be the Lincs Air Ambulance and the Sleaford St John Ambulance.

How to enter?

Gather a team of swimmers – any age and of any ability (4 is a good number)and see how many lengths you can cover in 55 minutes. Get your friends, family, neighbours to sponsor you and see how much you can raise. We give a prize to the team which raises the most in sponsorship, and while the event is not a race, there’s another prize for the team which swims the most lengths! We take a team photograph immediately prior to you getting in the water, which will be printed in A4 size and presented to the team captain immediately after their team’s swim, and later, will be featured in our local papers. In addition, every swimmer will be given an individual certificate showing how many lengths they completed. This is a very popular event – all the slots are filled every year – so if you fancy coming along, get your application form now! For further details and that form, contact Norry Bell on 01529 488330, or email us
